A Band Called Honalee

 

A Band Called Honalee is a tribute to the music of Peter, Paul & Mary, and their friends in the folk movement of the 1960s. Musically accomplished, interactive and energetic, our shows allow audiences to enjoy Peter Paul & Mary's timeless music onstage once again.

Our show also includes songs by Bob Dylan, Simon and Garfunkel, Pete Seeger, Joan Baez, Joni Mitchell, The Mamas And The Papas, The Weavers, Judy Collins, and other folk and folk/rock artists.

SARAH RANDALL HUNT (vocals) is an accomplished singer, actress, and budding ukulele player. She is originally from Kansas City, and now resides in New York City. She has toured nationally with TheaterWorks USA. Her favorite credits include "The Colbert Report," "Broadway Backwards 3" at the American Airlines Theatre, Gloria in "Boeing Boeing," Susan in Ira Levin's "Veronica's Room."eight:

CHRIS WARE (vocals, guitar) is an actor, singer, songwriter living in New York City's East Village. Originally from Louisiana, Chris has played to packed houses nationwide, and he has performed in numerous musicals and plays in New York and regionally. You can hear Chris playing guitar on independent artist Hope Gilmore's album "Waking Up The Ruins" available on cd baby and itunes.

DENNIS MICHAEL KEEFE (upright bass) Stage credits include: Still Getting My Act Together (York Theatre), Golden Boy of the Blue Ridge (Prospect Theater; Dennis is extremely proud to have produced the Original Off-Bway Cast Album, available on his record label, Great White Wax), Cabaret (Nat'l Tour), I Love My Wife, The Full Monty, Dedication or the Stuff of Dreams, Forever Plaid, Plaid Tidings. Dennis has played Bass or Woodwinds for over 20 NYC shows, including With Glee (Off-Bway cast album to be released 2011). ELI ZOLLER (vocals, guitar) is an actor, guitarist, music director, orchestrator, teacher, recording artist in New York City. Favorite theater include The York Theatre's Carmelina, the regional premiere of Happy Days, The Musical where he starred as Arthur "Fonz" Fonzarelli and Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story, in which he played and/or understudied every Cricket in the band, including the legendary Buddy Holly.
